Vetor Magazine: Chameleo, tell us three facts about the new album.
Chameleo: It's an extremely electric, upbeat album that translates a lot of my anxiety into sound, in terms of its sonority. It's a more empowered album, with more cheeky lyrics, but it also has its introspective and vulnerable side. Because I'm very much an all-or-nothing person.
Vetor Magazine: For you as an LGBTQIAP+ artist, what was it like to take part in a shoot with Vetor?
Chameleo: I love collaborating with other artists from the community, and I think if we don't do that, what's the point, right? We're so awesome, so diverse, and so talented that we have to join hands and go together, because if we wait only for society, the universe, we've already understood that it's not going to happen. So we have to help each other, participate in this independent, forward-thinking project, which brings together so many amazing people and often doesn't get the recognition it deserves. For me, it's an honor to be part of it!

Vetor Magazine: Still talking about the community, how do you view the underground music scene? Are there opportunities for everyone?
Chameleo: The underground music scene exists, but it's still a niche, it's very small, and there definitely aren't opportunities for everyone yet. I feel like it's changing, but the process is slow, but it's like that, one step at a time. I feel like people are starting to open their minds to different things, to new things, and I hope it continues to grow more and more.
Vetor Magazine: A national artist who is addicted and everyone needs to listen to?
Chameleo: Ebony, bitchhhh!
Vetor Magazine: An international artist you'd like to collaborate with?
Chameleo: I'd love to collaborate with Nathy Peluso.
Vetor Magazine: What was the most fun music video you've filmed in your career?
Chameleo: I always have fun in any music video, because it's what I love doing the most, but "Frequentemente" video was definitely iconic and the most fun. Forever!
Chameleo shows a more electric and versatile phase, blending different languages such as Portuguese, English, and French. Also mixing pop, funk, reggaeton, drum & bass, and tribal house.
