João V.: Three facts about the new album?
Mia Badgyal: I wrote and produced the album together with Cyberkills during the pandemic/end of it; The feature with Jup do Bairro was the last track to be included in the album; it wasn't initially part of the project, but when I got the opportunity, I wanted to release it right away; My next single will be a remix of "Vampira" with Day Limns, produced by Fuso and RKills.
JV: About the future, what are your plans?
Mia Badgyal: I hope to keep performing many shows, continue being inspired to write about my ideas and experiences, keep the flame of my art always burning, grow my audience of listeners, and release a new album.

JV: Speaking about the community: how do you view the underground music scene? Are there opportunities for everyone?
Mia Badgyal: The Brazilian underground music scene has always existed. I am neither the first nor the last artist in this scene. Many came before me to pave the way for me to reach where I am with a minimum level of comfort. What happens today is that we are able to showcase our work better thanks to the support of the community through digital media, which helps our work resonate with more people.

JV: A national artist you're obsessed with and everyone should listen to?
Mia Badgyal: I'm obsessed with Felipe Catto's new album "Belezas São Coisas Acesas Por Dentro" (Beauties Are Things Lit Up Inside). Everyone should listen to this gem of Brazilian music.
JV: An international artist you'd like to collaborate with?
Mia Badgyal: It would be really cool to create music with Sevdaliza and Charli XCX.
JV: Which was the most fun music video you've filmed?
Mia Badgyal: The most fun music video I filmed was for "Na Batida," my first one. I think it was the most fun because it was all just an experiment; I had no idea about producing at the time, just had my friends as the crew, and we did everything spontaneously.
